Since 2010, the creative minds behind Underprotection, Jeannette Hansen (Sales Director), Stephan Rosenkilde (CEO), Martin Larsen (CFO) and Sunniva Uggerby (Creative Director) have challenged the meaning behind sustainability.
When it comes to production, neither aesthetics nor ethics has been compromised. Underprotection combines materials such as recycled polyester, wool, organic cotton, and lyocell, which are being sold in some of the finest stores around the world. Milk is being transformed into a soft and shiny fiber similar to silk too.
The Danish lingerie brand also ensures that not only the right materials are used but also, social and environmental standards are being taken care of. In order to successfully deliver its intention, Underprotection tries to influence not only the consumers but also designers to view fashion in a more sustainable way.
